How To Decorate With Beach Themed Oil Paintings

How To Decorate With Beach Themed Oil Paintings? One of the ways is how Siesta Key, Florida residents Tony & Valerie Arena decorated their beautiful condo walls with local Siesta Key – Sarasota Lloyd Dobson Artist oil paintings.

Oil paintings and artwork always seem to make a room come alive with color and feeling, especially when you know how to choose art that compliments a specific room in your home. That is exactly what the Arena couple did.

Whether you walk through an art gallery, or you look at oil paintings offered at an online website, or check out a local farmers market like the Siesta key Farmers Market, one thing is certain: you will immediately know if you like a painting.

Perhaps the scene creates an emotional sensation within you that is pleasing, and you imagine that you would enjoy that painting hanging in your home for many years, without tiring of looking at it.

Well every Sunday Tony would ride his bike by the Siesta Key Farmers Market and could not help but noticing the vibrant beach themed oil paintings at the Lloyd Dobson Artist booth next to Ocean Blvd in the Siesta Key, Florida Village.

Tony & Valerie then Googled Lloyd Dobson Artist investigating his 5-star reviews, visited his website at www.LloydDobsonArtist.com and then visited his booth to discuss their thoughts and desires.

Here is what Tony and Valerie wrote as a review on Google: “We recently renovated our condo and we were looking to bring in some color and give it a beachey feel. We live near the farmers market on Siesta Key and have noticed Lloyd’s paintings. We purchased one of his paintings and absolutely loved it. After we hung it we couldn’t bring ourselves to hang the other pictures we already had.

We purchased an additional five paintings and they look great!! They were exactly what the condo needed. He even turned a cover we had on our electrical box into a work of art. He kept us informed throughout the process with a series of pictures and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. He is also an awesome guy, we feel lucky to have met him”. – Anthony & Valerie A. – Siesta Key, Florida

A unique strategy for choosing the perfect oil painting for your home is when you already have a motif or a theme that compliments your lifestyle or location where you live. Any type of artwork that is similar to the décor of your home or heritage will make you and your guests instantly feel comfortable.

Let’s now take a tour of a few of Tony and Valerie’s condo walls:

According to the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Recreational Music Making (RMM) is defined as, “Recreational Music Making refers to playing musical instruments alone or in a group without the goals of mastery or performance.”

Recreational Music Making encompasses enjoyable, accessible and fulfilling music-based activities that unite people of all ages regardless of their challenges, backgrounds, ethnicity, ability or prior experience.

Recreational Music Making is distinct from “regular” music making as its purpose is the enjoyment and well-being of the participant and the group, not an artistic or aesthetic outcome. Of particular importance is the fact that participation does not require talent or training. Exemplary performance is not the motive – fun and relaxation are the key drivers.

Corporate drumming and drum circles bring Recreational Music-Making to people regardless of musical experience.

Substantial research has documented numerous health benefits associated with various strategies that reduce the perception of stress, increase sense of control, and improve mood states. Nurturing/support, camaraderie, verbal and non-verbal self expression, exercise, imagery, and spirituality have considerable bio- psycho-social impact on diverse populations.

A unique combination of these elements is encompassed by RMM, which has been defined as “enjoyable, accessible, and fulfilling group music-based activities that unite people of all ages regardless of their challenges, back- grounds, ethnicity, ability or prior experience.

From exercise, nurturing, social support, bonding, and spirituality to intellectual stimulation, heightened understanding, and enhanced capacity to cope with life’s challenges, the benefits of RMM extend far beyond music.

RMM ultimately affords unparalleled creative expression that unites our bodies, minds, and spirits.” According to the Merriam Webster dictionary, the term recreational is derived from the Latin root, “recreatio,” which means “restoration to health.”

Group drumming and keyboard interventions have been reported to improve mood states and socialization. The RMM program selected for this investigation is based upon Group Empowerment Drumming, a comprehensive multi-faceted protocol with documented effects on cell-mediated biological stress pathways.

Coupled with Clavinova keyboard accompaniment and a unique series of Mind-Body Wellness Clavinova Exercises, this protocol-based RMM intervention was designed to establish a relaxed, non-threatening environment for the development of non-music based outcomes as noted in the above RMM definition.

Best Florida Locally Sourced and Freshly Made Jams and Jellies

Best Florida Locally Sourced Freshly Made Jams and Jellies are hands down made by Meli Gusto. Melissa the founder and owner of Meli Gusto came to Florida from a small suburb of Paris, France.

She began working in a farmers market at the young age of 15 while also attending school for tourism. After school, her passion for travel and food brought her around the world where she discovered the eclectic flavor profiles that influence her unique jams.

During her travels to Asia, she learned how different types of food affect your body and health and how to eat with a purpose.

For this reason, Melissa’s creations are all natural, preservatives free, gluten free and she offers many vegan options.

When Melissa arrived in the US and began making her own jams and spreads for her friends, they couldn’t get enough!

She knew that she wanted to share her passion with a wider audience.

Because Melissa’s recipes are influenced by her travels, the flavors are wildly different than the standard jams you will find in your local grocery store. They are named for the cities that inspired them. They range from a sweet, tropical pineapple coconut to a spicy pear habanero to a savory jalapeños bell pepper.

All ingredients are locally sourced and freshly made. Flavors change with the season and availability so you can always expect something new. With the success of her jams, Melissa decided to branch out into others spreads and authentic Mexican salsa.

Her energy balls will give you an all natural boost without any added sugar. They are a smart and delicious snack for an active life style.

Every Sunday Meli Gusto has a booth at the Siesta Key Farmers Market located on the beautiful barrier island of Siesta Key, Florida. The market hours are 9am to 1pm at 5104 Ocean Blvd in the Village of Siesta Key, Florida.

You can find Meli Gusto on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/meligusto

The Best Homemade Salsa For Sale In Florida

The Best Homemade Salsa For Sale In Florida hands down is Chillihead Salsa. Period!

Soup to salsa! The story behind the sweet red crack . . .

Chilihead started in 1997. Tyson Wolters, after many libations, was snowed in a farm house in Eastern Washington. After many hours of boredom and inevitable hunger, he found a whole box of tomatoes, and decided to attempt to make tomato soup.

He found it needed pepper. He ended up using jalapeños because he couldn’t find any. The next morning his dad tried and said to him, “I don’t know what you were doing in here last night, but this is the best salsa I’ve ever eaten.”

The best part is that it was an accident, in our opinion.

Skip ahead to 1999, Tyson and his Wife moved to Key West and he was the night kitchen manager of the Hogs Breath Saloon. The Tyson burger is still on the menu. This is where the salsa began to develop a little more. The access to new spices from the Caribbean really made it begin to take form.

In 2006, in Sarasota, he was researching tomato soup recipes trying to figure out how the two correlated. He was introduced to prominent tomato growers in the central/SW Florida area. He realized they weren’t utilizing the waste from the tomatoes and proposed the idea of using it for making his Salsa for his tomato soup recipe.

Because of the influence of the diverse cultures of being in the tropics, he started developing the Salsa further, instead of the soup. He had access to large amounts of the produce he needed and was able to refine the product, and pick up larger accounts in town, such as O’LEARYS.

In 2013, Tyson and Julia met when their bands played together for a benefit in town, that his company was donating for. In 2016, Chilihead had become too busy for one man to handle, and after a few meetings (and a few beers) they decided to take the leap to the next step.

PSA: We lost our conscience in the making of this product and accept zero responsibility for any addictive behaviors that users may come across. Until further examined by FDA, we highly recommend devouring this product in high doses until belly ache is achieved!

Why try to compete with the masses? We don’t make the same boring metallic tasting salsa produced at the same factory as your cheesy poof chips…

Our salsa is made batch by batch that our passion – my art is creating a delicious and surprising menu that will overwhelm your every sense.
